Safe Haven Training Ltd was founded in 2012 (originally as Staffordshire First Aid Training) with a clear mission: to make life saving first aid training practical, affordable, and easy to access. From its early days, we’ve grown into a nationally recognised training provider, supporting clients across Coventry, Birmingham, Solihull, Warwickshire, and the wider UK - while still maintaining a strong local presence.

Our Journey
Before starting Safe Haven Training, Ian Bryan spent more than three decades on the frontline as an NHS Paramedic and Air Ambulance responder. His frontline knowledge shapes every course we deliver, focused on real situations, real skills, and real confidence in emergencies.
2010 Humble Beginnings
Our journey began as Staffordshire First Aid Training, a family run business founded with a passion for making first aid practical, affordable, and accessible to all.
2015 First Major Milestone
We secured our first nationwide contract with Pirelli Tyres, marking a key moment in our growth and proving our ability to deliver training at scale.
2018 Rebrand & Expansion
We became Safe Haven Training Ltd, expanding our team of NHS professionals and emergency responders and delivering training to schools, councils, and businesses across England.
2020 Resilience in a Pandemic
During COVID-19, we adapted quickly, introducing PPE, safe distancing, and updated CPR guidance. We secured a £250,000 contract with Dudley Council and partnered with NHS Mid Cheshire Hospital, continuing to train safely during uncertain times.
2024 Nationwide Growth
By 2024, we were delivering accredited first aid and health & safety training nationwide, from the Midlands to London, Cornwall to Liverpool.
